ARDA, (Alison Russell Dance Arts) is a dance program located in Eastern
Long Island. The ARDA curriculum focuses on ballet technique as its core foundation, and is designed to accommodate experienced
dancers, as well as students new to dance. ARDA is a process-oriented school. The emphasis is on the process of learning dance,
which is an individual journey. ARDA does not produce recitals, or participate in dance competitions.
ARDA recognizes dance as an art form. Dance viewed as art acknowledges
the medium of movement as a viable tool for expression; developing an understanding and appreciation for aesthetics and facilitating
connections to the world around us.
